History
Horizon Land Services was founded in 1997 by three independently successful, accomplished title company veterans; Mindy Simon, Fern Epstein and Susan May-McLean. They combined their technical and real estate backgrounds and experience to create a full-service title, escrow/abstract company now employing over 40 professionals, with offices in New York City, Bridgehampton and Connecticut.
Horizon has been recognized for its high level of service and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a smooth transaction. Horizon boasts an impressive client roster of commercial and residential real estate professionals and has received tremendous support from high profile title insurance companies. Horizon has made agency agreements with Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company, Stewart Title Insurance Company, First American Title Insurance Company of New York and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.
Since it's inception, Horizon has evolved into a multi-faceted company offering a full range of services including in-house counsel and a national department. In addition Horizon has secured its certifications with New York State, New York City, Nassau County, Suffolk County and various other organizations as a Minority Woman Owned Business (MWOB) to work with city, county and state organizations who are encouraged to offer a percentage of their real estate transactions to qualified companies.
